Room Prep and Skim Plastering
I had recently taken a chance on this Father and Son duo. Initially they seemed eager to do a good job, but in the end, this simple job has taken longer than expected (a month) due to them spending only a couple of hours at a time on any one day. They would come at 9 and be gone before lunch time, saying they might have forgot a tool or need to get something else. Always saying the next day they would spend the full day. I was patient. In the end, they left me with patchy and scratched up walls. They did not even plaster the walls. They said the walls were ‘good’ which they were, and they tried to smooth them out with easy fill. The first 2 walls they did were okay. I expected them to fix completely before leaving. The last 2 walls were terrible. I hope I can share the photos. I gave them chance after chance to come back to fix the job. I believed they would. Unfortunately they have not. I would not recommend. I’m not sure if this was a one off or they totally didn’t know what they were doing. I had a 10 litre tub of Matt white paint that I was planning to use separately myself. They decided to paint the walls with it to cover up their attempt at patching up the wall. It is honestly shocking. I couldn’t have imagined anything like it. Avoid at all costs.

Very good service, polite and friendly and got the job done as specified. Good communication at all times, left everywhere clean and tidy. Would use again!
