Replacement of windows

If accurate measurements are taken where old windows were, then would the new windows be free of silicon fillers ?

"No you still need to apply silicon seal around the frame this stops water from getting in"

"Hi even if you got new window sizes mom perfect you would still need a mastic ( silicone) seal to make windows water tight"

Measure the windows brick to brick from the outside, subtract 10mm then the new ones will fit the RSS sight in be carefully measuring the height new UPVC cill are only 30mm,old style windows especially wooden ones can be up to 70mm"
