Singal story bay window

Question

My single-story bay window. It has UPVC windows with 4 panes. Bent wooden decorative strips over the top of the window and a sloped rendered roof. Some of the wooden strips will be rotten. Who do I get to repair the leak? I had a couple of roofers around; they said it was not them.

If you're talking about a wooden decorative trim that goes around a window exterior or interior. You could either get a PVC Door specialist to come and re-trim the Window, Or just your general Handyman. They'll make sure it looks neat and tidy. Hope this helps.

if the leak is coming from the top of the window near the roof then it will be the tiling on outside if its at the top of the window pane it be the sealant on the windows id suggest a window fitter to take a look

The curved/decorative timber strips above the UPVC bay window appear to form part of the original detailing, and if sections have become rotten, a carpenter should be able to carefully remove the affected timber and make replacement sections to match the existing profile. They can be replaced like-for-like so that the finished repair looks original and remains uniform with the other windows.

Once the timberwork has been repaired, the area should be properly sealed and weatherproofed to prevent further water ingress. This would also explain why the roofers have said the leak is not necessarily a roofing issue, the source may be failed or rotten timber detailing around the window rather than the rendered roof itself.
