Repairing leather chesterfield sofa

Is it possible to repair a leather chesterfield sofa that has a few tears and cracks? Would this be cheaper than buying a new one?

"Leather repair is possible and not difficult so it can often be done. As to is it worth doing it depends on how much damage as to how long it will take sorry I can't be more helpful"

"Depending on the grandeur of the product vintage year , producer etc it may very well b preferable to leave it as is patina adds character (depending on how damaged) gettin a valuation from an auctioneer will give you a guide as to weather or not buy new"
