Can you apply rendering to marine ply if so what type of render do I need ?

Hello, you can render on to marine ply but first you need to securely fix expanding metal it comes in either a roll or sheets and it can be stretched once fitted you can start to apply the render

Yes you can but you need to mesh it first and put PVA in your mortar mix

No this can't be done you must put a suitable surface in place to apply the render such as plasterboard

I wouldn't do that but you can screw cement on the ply first
