Raising my kitchen ceiling

I’m looking to raise part of the ceiling in my kitchen, it’s not under a bedroom or other room as it’s in part of the front of the house that sticks out separately, almost like a front extension(?). It’s maybe a foot lower than the rest of the room and there’s one dividing wall to take into account. Would this be a fairly straightforward job or even possible?

"Good afternoon in my personal opinion its possible as you have nothing but space above you but it would not be a straight forward job and would become quite costly, To heighten the roof you would need to first, Demolish the ceiling then support the roof, remove the existing joists, replace the joists add sisters the rafters add collar ties to remove the support. There after you would need to run all your wires back for your lights etc, re insulate the roof plaster board it re-plaster and the repaint. so yes its very possible but its a lengthy costly job."

"Is it a pitched roof above your kitchen if so yes, if it’s flat then no without removing the roof"

"It is possible but the amount you gain to the amount you spend I wouldn't advise it. Ceiling rip out support roof/ if it's a flat roof then re roof. Replace joist wall ties/braces. Re run cables or extened up. Then reboard reskim redecorate. Definitely a costly job."

"Yes it would be possible, abs with the right tradesmen should be fairly straightforward barring any hidden issues."

"Providing the structure you refer to is single storey & dependent on what type of roof structure you have (I.e) pitched or flat. Yes it could be done, but you would be looking at an expensive job purely to gain 300mm more headroom."

"I short no this would not be a straightforward job, you would have to raise all ceiling joists which maybe tied into brickwork or other joists ,would possibly require removal of the roof section ."
