Pruning neighbour's tree

Will a tree surgeon be happy to prune a tree that's overhanging my property from a neighbour's garden?

"Yes indeed, whatever overhanging to your garden you do not need permission, but I recommend always to have a chat and discuss the situation and both can find the solution and you gonna still be happy neighbours.

"Aslong as the neighbour has been informed that the tree is being pruned if not you can legally only go up the the fence line that is over hanging on your side"

"Yes you can prune any overhang with out permission but only what overhangs your property"

"Yes tree surgeon will happily cut it if he’s not fussy 😂 if it’s in or hanging over your boundry then yes u av got the rights"

"You don't legally require permission from the neighbour in cutting back their tree to your boundary, though it could avoid any unnecessary problems! For example, they may be upset/angry if you don't consult with them first, they may not be aware it's causing you issues, they may decide to get the rest of the tree done at the same time also, especially if cutting just your side causes balance issues for the tree, or makes it look aesthetically unpleasant. I would call in and say to them first, let them know what you have planned. It might even be a tree which should not be cut at this time of year also, which can cause rot and disease in the future."

"By law tree surgeons can cut trees overhanging onto your property but you better ask your neighbor's to keep on good terms"

"Tree surgeon is always happy for All Job but meybe is neighbors responsibility for his trees or plants that overgrown. Is about communication between you and you neighbors."
