Proving rainwater goes into soakaway

I believe my rainwater goes into a soakaway rather than the sewerage drain. How do I prove this?

lift the sower /manhole cover and put the hose in the rain water gully if the water   turns up in the manhole that gully is not going to a soakaway try all the gully  if no water shows then its going to a soakaway or somewhere else

Where your guttering down pipe is or rain water pipes are put a hose pipe in turn on tape wait about 15 minutes. If water stays in well good if over flowing bad

By opening your sewerage manhole. Then pouring water down your nearest rainwater gully. If this is a combined system water from the rainwater gully will run into the sewerage manhole.  The best way of identifying how your drainage system works would a site visit. Hope this helps.
