Protective gloves and cleaning products

Are there any cleaning products that I should wear protective gloves when using that perhaps I and most people may not realise we should be using protective gloves with? I've seen a few horror stories on Facebook about products that people handled without protective wear and damaged their hands! Thanks for your time.

"With all cleaning products, gloves should be worn and when any chemicals are used they should be in a well-ventilated area."

"When using bleach, you should definitely wear protective gloves."

"No. Our products are organic and are of the highest quality. They are non-toxic and do not destroy the skin on the hands. We use protective gloves strictly for personal hygiene, and in no case due to detergents."
