What type of power shower drainage should I have?

Does a power shower require different drainage than a standard shower?

"No, a standard 1”1/2 waste is fine, failing that there’ll be an issue with the fall"

"You should be ok with the same size drain, on new installs I normally would recommend 2inch pipe for a big shower head on a shower.

"No as long as the waste pipe is 41mm then it should handle the power shower"

"Providing existing shower has at least 40mm waste pipework this will be absolutely fine, never had a problem updating showers from gravity to pressurised in regards to water waste."
