My newly installed Indian sandstone patio has multiple issues. Several slabs lift off easily, the joints are uneven, and the landscaper placed broken concrete pieces on the MOT1 base without compacting them before adding the semi‑dry mix. He cut the end‑slots off the channel drains, left gaps between sections, and installed loose end caps. Water leaks and flows towards the neighbour’s garden rather than the gully. A small 3×3cm opening was cut into the drain, but the gully grate remains in place, preventing access for clearing blockages. The landscaper claimed the drains would “move” if slotted together. The drain grilles sit 1–2cm below the DPC. I need guidance on whether this meets acceptable standards.
