Painting twenty fence boards in London

I have twenty fence boards in my garden that need to be painted. I am located in London. How much will it cost me to hire a professional painter to perform this job? Also, I have a pet dog who loves to spend time in the garden? We can keep her inside when the paint job is taking place but once painting is finished, how long after should we wait before letting her back outside? She’s very curious so I’d just be worried that she might start sniffing it or taste it just after a fresh coat of paint has been added!

"The cost of hiring a professional painter to paint twenty fence boards in your garden in London can vary depending on several factors, including the size of the fence boards, the type of paint required, the experience of the painter, and the amount of prep work needed. Generally, you can expect to pay anywhere from £10-£30 per hour for a professional painter in London, with the total cost ranging from £200-£500 or more, depending on the factors mentioned above.

As for your pet dog, it's best to wait at least 24 hours after the paint has dried before allowing her back into the garden. This will give the paint sufficient time to fully dry and cure, reducing the risk of any harmful chemicals being ingested or absorbed through the skin. Be sure to read the label of the paint you're using for specific instructions on drying time and safety precautions for pets. It's also a good idea to keep an eye on your dog when she's outside to make sure she doesn't ingest or come into contact with any leftover paint residue or chips"

"I depends on weather you want the painter to supply materials or if you want to pay them on a day rate or price. If I was doing this job I would supply the fence paint and give each panel two coats for £400"

"Hey there due to the amazing great British weather you would need a couple of dry days for the fence to be painted
Regards to the price you would be looking at around £300 - £400
And I would suggest leaving the fence at least 2/3 hours to dry properly before letting the dog out on its own anyway maybe take him out on the lead so he knows what's going on as it's his house also.
Hope this helps"

"THE QUICKEST WAY IS TO SPRAY THE FENCE BOARDS- SHOULD TAKE APPROX 3 HOURS PER COAT, IF HAND PAINTED WITH A LARGE BRUSH THEN APPROX 7 HOURS PER COAT- EACH COAT SHOULD COST APPROX £150-200 LABOUR. FENCE PAINT DRIES VERY QUICKLY ESPECIALLY IN 18 DEGREES + TEMPERATURES"

"A painter would generally charge a days wages to do this . It’s a days work for a decent painter so whatever their day rate is"
