Order pick up

Question

If a person is self-isolating, can they have another person pick up a click and collect order from a store? Does it depend on the store? It’d just be good to know as I may need to self-isolate in the coming days and I’ve ordered a few things recently. Thanks.

Depends on the store but usually so long as the person has the order confirmation email or number they should have no issues.

Hi, yes it is possible for someone to pick up a click and collect on behalf of someone else providing you give them a cover note.

You need have look in the order email confirmation. If shops allow to pick up an order for You. If they agree to do it what kind of documents do they need to bring.

It really depends on the store. Sometimes all it requires is a phone call before and after you’ve ordered to make sure it’s ok and set up with the store. 

Some stores require the card used to pay with to take the goods away.

Yes someone else can collect your orders but you must inform the store of the person who is coming to collect the order. A reference number will be given to you and you pass this on to the person who is collecting your order. Thank you

As long as they have a copy of the confirmation e-mail, with the order number, it should be OK

I would say yes as long as they have your order number for your click and collect that should be fine.

Someone else can collect for you but they may need Id /order number etc. Check with the company you have ordered with as it should say on there.

Yes you can ask someone else to pick it up for you and they can leave it outside your door for you
