Opening between worktop and peninsula

What's the minimum recommended opening between a worktop and peninsula in a G-shape kitchen layout?

The very minimum is 60cm, at least to open each side doors, if there is DW to be open you need 75cm. Hope that is helpful

It depends on the positioning of appliances etc but as a general rule at least 1m.  The important thing is to think where you would stand whilst opening dishwasher or cupboards. Will there be enough space to bend down to get into the cupboards?

I personally leave a minimum of 70cm for you to allow for doors and drawers to be opened easily

Ideally you need a space of around 1 metre, you can go down to around 900mm which still isn’t to bad but i wouldn’t go any smaller as you need room to get the doors or draws open and have room to bend down.

You'll need at least 8 feet between the distant counters in a G Shaped Kitchen to fit an island in the middle. For traffic flow, the kitchen island should have a 3 or 4-foot aisle on either side. Thanks
