We're looking to get our small office professionally cleaned on a regular basis. What's a typical rate per square metre for commercial cleaning and what's usually included?

What’s included depends on what you want done 
Just carpets there cleaned left feeling wet but drys out within 10 hours and left smelling amazing and cleaned to a high standard.

Hi Jackie,
For regular office cleans in the UK, you are typically looking at around £1.60 – £3.20 per m² per visit, with deep cleans sitting slightly higher at £2.15 – £3.20 per m². London and the South East tend towards the top of that range; the Midlands and North usually come in a little lower.

That said, per-m² pricing is more common on larger sites. For a small office, most cleaners will quote either an hourly rate (roughly £15 – £30 per cleaner per hour) or a fixed weekly/monthly fee, because the minimum attendance time tends to be the real cost driver.

Frequency also makes a big difference, 2–3 visits a week is often plenty for a small office and works out considerably cheaper than daily cover.
A standard recurring spec usually includes:
	•	Vacuuming and mopping floors
	•	Dusting desks, surfaces and skirting boards
	•	Sanitising high-touch points (handles, switches, phones)
	•	Emptying bins and replacing liners
	•	Cleaning and restocking washrooms
	•	Wiping down kitchen surfaces and appliance fronts
	•	Spot-cleaning glass partitions and internal doors
Things typically charged as extras are window cleaning, carpet shampooing, high-level dusting, periodic deep cleans, and sometimes consumables (soap, loo roll, hand towels).

Hi Jackie, 
In my experience an office clean, per square metre is anywhere between £1.50 – £3.00 per m² for routine office cleaning. If you need higher-special cleaning, frequent sanitising, or difficult access/out-of-hours work it could go up to £3.00 – £5.00+ per m² .
