Moving a stop tap

Is it possible to move a stop tap? Mine is in the cellar but it would be handier under the kitchen sink.

"Yes you would need to isolate water outside and run mains from basement to under kitchen sink"

"It is definitely possible, you would potentially reroute some pipework and or add fitings in order to make this possible."

"It really depends on your pipe work. With the stop tap being in the cellar the pipe work may branch off in different direction before it gets to the kitchen, therefore if you fit a stop tap under the sink it will only isolate the pipe work that comes off that particular pipe work."

"Yes it's easy enough to relocate it. That feed will go to the kitchen sink normally, so best locate there if possible."
