"Yes, food must be removed prior to move and defrosted a day before. After transportation and placed in the new property it should be not switch on in about 4h."

"Yes, we do recommended to empty and defrost your freezer before moving it to a new home. This is because moving a full freezer can be quite heavy, which can make it more difficult to transport and potentially increase the risk of damage.

Defrosting your freezer before moving it also helps to prevent any spills or leaks that could occur if the ice inside the freezer melts during transport. This can help protect your other belongings and prevent damage to the inside of the moving truck or storage unit.

Overall, it is best to empty and defrost your freezer before moving it to ensure that it is safe and easy to transport, and to prevent any potential damage or mess during the move."

"Emptying just makes it easier to move. If it's not defrosted that's probably going to drip everywhere but that's up to you really. But after you move it it would need to sit unplugged for couple of hours for the gases to settle before switching back on."
