modernise 2 beds terrace property

I want to redecorate the whole house, it has wood chip all over. What is the best/quickest way to get rid of it?

Thanks

"Best way is to scrape back the walls as much as possible then 2 good coats plaster will sort it.
Many thanks,

"Shave off the paper with a push scraper then soak the under paper with water and scrape the rest off. Wood chip paper often hides poor plaster work so the house may need skimming when the walls are stripped and PVA’d."

"The best way is to use a steamer, yes it's going to take time though.
Once you're done, just bond the walls and re-skim."

"Woodchip is the most depressing thing it makes everything look awful. Woodchip is a paper with small flecks of wood in it... Recommend to stripping off and replaster and painting!"
