Minimum depth underground of domestic drain line

How far underground should the drain line from my house be? I've got a feeling it's too close to the surface. Is there a regulation depth?

"750mm is the standard depth really! Due to ground frost getting to the services! And other services being at deiffrent regulated depths"

"Depth is governed by manhole depths but there is no regulation depth for drainage but usually the dig is around 450mm if in stalling new ppci’s and manholes"

"That is all dependent on the job itself the depth isn't the issue it's the fall rate that's important because if the drain is shallow it just needs concrete surround."

"There is no regulated depth. So if you are to dig be careful! Depending when your house was built it could be clay, asbestos, pitch fibre or plastic."

"Hi they should be a minimum of 600mm 2 foot to stop them freezing. A manhole should be 500mm, half a meter away from the house."
