Mechanism on upvc window is stuck
How can I fix the mechanism on my window? Handle turns but window is still stuck closed

"From experience the lock can be changed relatively easy providing the locking mech is stil readily available to buy if not you can modify locks in verious ways to suit said opening sash .
Apologies but I must go against a fellow trademans advise an say never use WD40 on any mechanical moving part as from experience it tends to shorten the life span of the particular moving part. Other silicone based lubricants are better designed to work. Saying that your lock has sheered off somewhere hence why handle just turns and does not release it from its locked position. So no matter what you spray on it it will not open without a forced entry."
