Load bearing wall removal

On average, what does it cost to have a load bearing wall safely demolished and removed? Including the cost of whatever must be installed in its place.

"There isn't really an average cost, each job is different depending on size of wall with, thickness of wall and size of steel required, its a good idea to get a structural engineer to determine this and then an accurate quote can be given"

"The cost is normally around a thousand to 1500 with steel but you will need building regs and a structural engineer to calculate the steel"
