Laminate in kitchen

How do you fit laminate in kitchens when it tells you not to have it fitted under fitted kitchen units. Do you lay it to the kickboard with a expansion gap and put beading around or can you put it under the kickboard slightly?

"Beading can be used against the kickboard, however it looks neat if you use a multi-tool to trim all around the bottom of the kickboards so the laminates can slide under slightly."

"Right to worktops and expansion at walls and plinth legs. Silicone seal against work units, beading looks rubbish.
As long as there’s expansion gap at one end, you’ll be ok. If expansion isn’t available at either end then beading will have to be used."

"Hi There, it comes down to preference if you want the laminate running all the way to the wall under the units I personally think it’s a waste. Best this is to fit the laminate to the legs of the base units and then fit the plinths on top so you can seal the floor. I’ll always recommend a waterproof laminate."

"You can install the kitchen first, then have the floor going under the kickboards for a better finish."

"You can have it fitted up to the kickboards and bead around it afterwards with no problem. Ideally you would want to undercut the end panels to allow the boards to sit underneath nicely otherwise there's a lot of fiddly cutting out round the panels etc."
