K rend to outside wall

My wall was completed in June last year. I have noticed 4 or 5 small blemishes they are the only ones I can see at my eye level. These blemishes have appeared as small holes, a couple even have a rust coloured appearance. One actually looks like render has fallen off. Any suggestions please. I have sent the Renderer five photos today. He has read my message but not commented in nine hours.

"Hi, from your description it sounds like small defects in the render, possibly caused by minor shrinkage, poor adhesion, or moisture affecting the surface.
These small holes and rust-like marks can appear if the top coat hasn’t bonded properly or if there is slight movement in the wall.
The best solution is to inspect the area in person, repair the affected spots, and reapply a proper finish to ensure it doesn’t happen again.
I’d be happy to take a look and advise you further."

"From what you’ve described (small holes, rust colouring, and bits coming away), it sounds like a few possible issues:

* Air pockets or poor application causing small holes
* Contamination or metal beads underneath causing rust staining
* Debonding where the render hasn’t properly adhered to the background

K Rend systems should last well if applied correctly, so this shouldn’t really be happening after less than a year.

What I’d suggest:

* Get the original installer back to inspect it properly
* Don’t accept a patch job without understanding the cause
* If it’s bead corrosion or bonding failure, sections may need to be redone

You’ve done the right thing sending photos—give them a bit of time, but they should respond and take responsibility.

Or… you could always get Redstone Renovations & Landscaping Ltd to come and do it for you 😂"

"The person who rendered should come back to make the problem go away. The problem could be moisture"

"Sounds like fixtures in the wall/screw or nails that have been rendered over. They then rust and blow/pop the render off. If you send me the pictures I can have a look and suggest a solution to fix the problem.
Regards Kyle"

"Hi there, looking like screws being left in the wall causing rust marks. Easy remedy to knock off where the screws are take the screws out and fill with fresh render to obtain the same match if it has been painted you will need the same colour of paint or if it’s coloured render"
