Is willow the best wood to use for weaving a rustic fence?

"Yes willow coppice is the most commonly used material for fence weaving due to its flexibility and durability. Hazel or any other long straight saplings can be used also if done in the correct manner."

"Chestnut will last the longest due to its natural tannins. Willow and hazel wont last as long."
