Ask your QuestionHey everyone. I want to tidy up the garage and I’m thinking about types of storage. It’s a small space, enough only for a single car. I’ve looked at garage shelving, does this need to be garage specific or can I buy any type of shelf to use? What about storage containers? Or are they just a waste of space? Can you provide any other good ideas to store garden tools? Thanks
Asked by Everson on 9th Apr 2020"Hello there ,
For your question I think the best thing to do is obviously shelving and its not necessarily a specific type of shelves as they can be bespoke build from timber and ply. You can also build some storing kind of cupboards on the back end of the garage at a height level, you can divide the space on the sides one with shelves and the other one as a tool panel to hang hand tools. Hope the idea helps ,good luck."
"Hello you can buy plastic sheving from most hardware stores these are cheap and very strong you can also buy chests for tools storage as well"

"I think a few hooks on the wall is as good as anything for the garden tools, floating shelves for the bottles / tubs etc"
Answered on 9th Apr 2020 - Member since Dec 2019 - report"Hello you can purchase adjustable steel racking to suit your needs or have a board mounted with clips and hooks to hold all your tools and save the floor space. You could also have a couple of wall mounted shelves for other bits.
Hope this helps. Kind regards, Jason"
