Ideal boiler temperature

Does the ideal boiler temperature vary significantly from model to model or even based on the type/design of the boiler in question? I assume the manual of any given boiler will provide this information anyway for any given boiler model?

"It’s not about the boiler temperature. It’s whatever suits your building and fabric and ventilation heat losses. One house may be happy at -3 outside temperatures with the boiler producing 50c temperatures to the radiators to maintain a 20-21c internal temperature. Another house on the same street may need 75c to do the same. Hence why it’s worth investing into insulation to reduce your heat losses and keep the boiler condensing all the time as it will not do so at 75c once the boiler return temperature warm up past the few point."

"Yes depending whether its a condensing or a non condensing boiler. Newer domestic boilers are condensing and manufacturer are saying to keep the heating temperature at fifty five degrees at this the boiler condenses more and therefore better heat recovery and lower bills."

"Correct the manual will display the Temperature of what you are eluding to, either hot water or heating."

"Try it at sixty degrees as it will condense more. Not all systems like sixty, but give it a try."

"Hello, weather compensation will ensure that the ideal flow temperature is achieved. It varies each day what the best temperature would be and smart controls with weather compensation work all this out for you. Ask a local installer to quote for weather compensation, if possible. All the best."

"Would def need to refer to the specific manufacturers instructions regarding each specific model of boiler"
