How to repair a vinyl plank?
How do you repair a vinyl plank? Is it feasible and suitable for a DIY enthusiast? And might it be best to simply replace the vinyl plank?

"It can be suitable for a DIY-er with a very steady hand ! The procedure is as follows: cut out the damaged vinyl (this depends on the pattern or design of it ) you either secure in place your spare vinyl on top of the damaged one with tape all around it and using a Stanley knife (with a brand new blade!)you cut around your pattern carefully slicing thru both you replacement and the damaged one ,after this you simply remove the old one, clean the surface ,apply contact adhesive (or specialized glue). Put the new vinyl in place and use a wallpaper roller(even a rolling pin will do ) to flatten ensuring full and perfect adhesion is in place."
