How to get rid of foxes in the garden

Foxes are coming into the garden regularly and they are digging up the lawn and leaving a mess. Is there anything that actually keeps them away long term?

"Foxes are incredibly territorial, there is a product called scoot that you mix with water and spray the parameter of your garden over an extended period of time that tricks foxes into believing another gang of foxes have laid stake of it and they mark and avoid the area"

"More details are required, as to is it a family or a pair or an individual?
I have a live cage trap, which is humane and more succesdful than other methods.
This can be hired out on a weekly basis..
Relocation of the caught fox would be carried by myself."

"Have spot lights put citrus peels on lawn possibly put electric on the fencing. Don't be feeding animals in your garden or put food waste out. Hope this helps ABIT. Total waste control"

"Hi Angie!

Typically we would recommend environmental management for external foxes in terms of waste management, site ingress (proofing of fencing).

Relocation of foxes can be carried out using humane cage based traps.

Our main concern with foxes is being the major carrier for mange which can then be passed onto domestic animals such as dogs however we can imagine fox fouling and damage to lawn is also not pleasant!

"foxes are deterred by the smelll of male urine. you can buy repellent chemicals that emulate that smell from places like b&q or amazon for cheap ish and it’ll do a job!"
