Bird proofing solar panels cost

We've had panels on the roof for about three years and this spring pigeons have nested underneath them, the mess and noise is constant. I've been quoted £600 for mesh all round. Is that about right, and does the proofing damage the panels at all?

yes this can be a problem mesh is normally the answer as to cost it dep[ends on the size of the area if you can supply that and the location is it on a house roof ext as equipment costs come into it

Depending on the size of the area £600 seems a bit high. If it’s done correctly it shouldn’t cause any damage

Hello, the proofing doesn't damage the panels at all. Depending on the size of area covered by the solar panels depends on the quantity of proofing needed. If you would like to send me the measurements I will be able to assist with a price.

Pigeons are a terrible problem to solar panels and they will not go away once they have made a home of it. Firstly they make nests and the twigs mess up the wiring under the solar panels. The pigeons also produce hot spots  which causes problems with the solar panels and how they operate . £600 is about right and can be more around £700 but this is something I have been doing quite frequently and would quite £500. 
The issue is how high are the panels and can I get up a ladder to get into the roof and not be too close to the edge?
