How to get paint off patio slabs

There is decking paint that's on the slabs from where the previous owner has done a poor DIY job. Is there a low-effort way of getting the paint off so it looks better? Doesn't have to be perfect, but it's an eyesore right now

"Hi it really all depends on the kind of slabs and type of paint but a good paint remover should get most paint off although be careful as depending on the patio slabs materials it could cause staining"

"It depends on the paint, but if it’s oil based, you could try burning off if it’s a water-based Fencing stain It may be more tricky, You could try just soap of water."

"Power washing the slabs would be the best option to try to remove the decking paint"

"Brick acid patio cleaner is perfect way to clean it off and a Jetwash down (any household Jetwash will do the trick) just make sure to leave the acid on long enough to work but not to long it starts to damage the patio"

"You can use any of the following Jet wash or paint stripper or a wire brush"

"If you have a powerful pressure washer this can definitely remove outdoor paints, if they are slab paints they they are pretty tough even if the job looks terrible it may be difficult to remove. Also paint flakes are awful for sticking to everything and are troublesome to get off. Dry methods would be a wire brush on a long handle to save the back and contain the spoils that come off. Alternatives could be repaint it with a dark colour. Light coloured painted flooring in gardens are a waste of time. Constantly dirty. If you think outside the box maybe a layer of chippings if you have 3 to 4 inches clearance around the edges. Remember to raise any flat edges or drains with a single course of bricks you dont have to be a pro to get really nice results with a landscaping adhesive. Also if its slabs below you know the weeds aren't coming through.

Unfortunately to this is not an easy fix to remove. But decorating or covering it could go along way with far less money and effort spent. Good luck 👍"
