How to clean a brick driveway

Our brick driveway has moss and green algae on it. Can you pressure wash brick without dislodging the jointing sand or is there a better approach? How much would a pro cost instead of doing it myself?

"Professional exterior cleaner here. Pressure washing is highly recommended for block paving and the point is to remove as much of the sand in between the blocks as possible as that’s where a lot of weeds come from. Pre treat 2 weeks before cleaning with a strong weed killer if possible. After cleaning when completely dry use kiln dried sand and sweep in.
DO NOT USE BRICK ACID. If you want to use a chemical to clean use Sodium Hypochlorite. I charge a minimum of £5 per m²"

"Use a brick cleaning acid.....watered down to the specifications....and jet wash down thoroughly.
This will take away the majority of the markings."
