How much to convert a shed into living space?

There's a big sturdy shed at the bottom of our garden and I'd love to turn it into a proper annexe for guests. What kind of costs are we talking?

"Hello there

In theory should be quite straightforward, but main concerns obviously around services, building integrity/strength, damp and humidity control, insulation, heating, fenestration and security.

Costs would depend on the size l, services available and proximity to the house. Detailing and finishing quality will elevate the space and give it the feel of an annexe and not a converted shed!

In terms of £/m³ you should be thinking it's easily possible to require £500/m³ especially if your looking for self containment.

Hard to be more accurate without a visit and discussion.
