"Hi, it depends. If you used rapid set adhesive the curing time is 12 hours. Otherwise 24 hours is the optimum curing time. However one would take in consideration the cuurent weather and temperatures.
Hope it helps"

"Hello Harry, I normally leave it for as long as possible without restricting doing other works,my reason is to give the adhesive to set enough, other tradesmen might have a different view, thanks Harry"

"I generally use a rapid set adhesive of the likes of Mapei, which takes 3 to 4 hours to dry before grout can be applied. A standard set adhesive should be left 24 hours before grouting. The working temperature of powder based adhesive that is mixed with water with a paddle mixer is about 5 to 20 C, so be careful even if the room you are tiling is that temperature but the adhesive has been left or mixed in temperatures outside this range. Ready mixed adhesive is generally inferior, it does depend on the surface area of the room and the size of the tiles."

"It depends on the tile adhesive used and on what surface they are laid. He always writes on the back of the adhesive bag. The best minimum 24 hours after tiling"

"All depends on what adhesive you've used. It will always say on the tub, or bag of powder adhesive. A a rule of thumb, I normally grout after 12 hours. However, if I use rapid set adhesive, just a few hours."
