How much does pool decking cost?

We've finally taken the plunge (sorry) and are getting a pool put in next summer, and I'd love decking around at least two sides of it. What does decking around a pool roughly cost, and is composite worth the extra over timber given it'll get splashed constantly?

"For around a pool, I’d personally recommend composite over timber. It costs more initially, but it’s much lower maintenance and handles constant splashing and moisture better than timber. It also won’t need staining or treating like timber does."

"Hi Kamil…..I’m from a pool building background…..the simple answer is no, composite isn’t the answer in this case…..for longevity and safety you will need a ‘slip resistant’ porcelain tile on a screed base, set to falls….pools, as you may be aware have chlorine based cleaners in the water…..sounds more complicated than it is…..let me know how you get on"
