"Hi,

Do you know the make/brand of the hot tub at all? Servicing normally is £300 - we let you know the following: Water & Cleaning

* Drain the hot tub completely.
* Flush the pipework with a system cleaner to remove biofilm.
* Clean and descale the shell.
* Clean around the waterline and jets.
* Clean or replace the filter (if required).
* Refill with fresh water.
* Balance pH, alkalinity, and sanitizer (chlorine or bromine).

Equipment Checks

* Check pumps for leaks, noise, and correct operation.
* Inspect the heater and confirm it’s heating correctly.
* Test the circulation pump.
* Check the control panel and error codes.
* Inspect the blower (if fitted).
* Test lights and other accessories.

Plumbing & Electrical

* Inspect unions, pipework, and valves for leaks.
* Check the cabinet for signs of water damage.
* Inspect electrical connections (with power isolated where appropriate).
* Test the RCD/GFCI safety device.

Cover & Exterior

* Clean and condition the cover.
* Check the cover hinges and straps.
* Inspect the cabinet and base.

Final Testing

* Confirm water temperature.
* Test all jets and air controls.
* Check chemical readings.
* Provide a report of any faults or recommendations.

A starter kit is around £80-£100 and to top up is about £20 a month approximately!

Electricity would depend on size, if you’re keeping it up to temperature all the time, and the make/model/age of the hot tub! New ones are very well insulated and keep the costs down!"
