How much does it cost to reupholster a sofa?

My mum's old two seater is solid as anything but the fabric has worn through on the arms. Sentimental value, so I don't want rid of it. What does reupholstering cost these days?

"Reupholstering a standard two-seater sofa typically costs between £600 and £1,500, depending on the fabric you choose, the condition of the frame and cushions, and your location. If the sofa has sentimental value and the frame is still solid, reupholstery is often a worthwhile investment. I'd recommend getting a few quotes from experienced local upholsterers, as many will let you choose from a range of fabrics and can advise whether any repairs are needed at the same time."
