How much does bath resurfacing cost?

Our cast iron bath is chipped and stained but I'd hate to rip it out. Is resurfacing worth doing and what's the going rate?

"As experienced bathroom renovation specialists, we’d always assess the condition of the bath before recommending replacement. A quality cast iron bath is often worth preserving, and professional resurfacing can deliver an excellent finish for significantly less than the cost and disruption of installing a new one. The final price depends on the level of damage, but a site assessment is the best way to determine the most economical and durable solution."
