How much do plumbers charge per hour?

I need a plumber for a few small jobs around the house. What's a typical hourly rate in the UK? Do most charge a minimum regardless of time taken?

"£60 is the average cost per hour for a plumber but it depends on how complicated the job is"

"Hi

Hope all is well

We would genuinely charge £100 for the first hour
Then £ 50 a hour after your first

Please understand that this is a labour only quote as parts may need to be added to the invoice

Bit will alway be discussed with your self on the day

Kind regards
John"

"Depends entirely on where you are in the UK and what the job involves. In the Southeast, 100-150 for the first hour of standard plumbing is pretty reasonable. Some will be more, others less. Depends entirely on what you are doing, really. I'm sure you can appreciate most people would want more per hour for doing harder or more unpleasant jobs."

"£100. Mates rates might include coming for less if you are a regular customer and you fulfil your end of the contract readily."

"Charges vary depending on the job. Normally I price per job rather than an hourly rate."

"It all depends on the type of plumbing job and location also the kind of experience they have!

We have to calculate all the options
However it can start from £19ph up to £30ph"

"Depending on the jobs and area. I usually charge £30 per hour but depending on the job and length it will take usually works out cheaper to charge day rate or depending on what it is I also charge per job sometimes as well which sometimes works out differently"
