How much do indian sandstone driveways cost?

What prices should we expect when getting quotes? If possible, could someone share what they'd charge (everything included) per square metre? It's a 2 car driveway

"It’s heavily dependant on the ground prep required beforehand and what is currently there to remove but expect to pay £175-£250 per m2

As a side note, sandstone slabs are not a great option for a driveway. They’re great for patios but not made to bear vehicle weight unless your contractor can find slabs 30mm thick and above"

"For full removal, excavation, drainage allowance, membrane, type 1 mot sub-base of 125-150mm depending on ground condition, full bed mortar lay with slurried slabs and nexus pro joint for all joints, we'd charge £120-£130 per metre depending on the colour and slab chosen.

This meterage price would have an allowance for drainage if needed to the threshold with pin kerbs installed to the local authority boundary for a clean finish.

We're based in the Midlands so prices of stone are cheaper than other areas in the country due to shipping but i'd expect most reputable landscaping companies to be around these figures"

"Hi, personally I wouldn’t recommend using Indian sandstone for driveway as slabs aren’t really made for vehicle use more for patios in back garden, however if you still wanted to use them it’d be under your own consent and would say you’d be looking in region of £6000-£9000 pounds depending on excavation needed"

"For a typical 2-car driveway using Indian sandstone, prices usually range between £100–£140 per m² fully installed, depending on the groundwork required and access to the property.
A proper installation would normally include: • Excavation of the existing ground
• Installation of MOT Type 1 sub-base compacted in layers
• A full sand and cement bed for the slabs (not spot laid)
• Indian sandstone paving installed with the correct fall for drainage
• Jointing with a suitable jointing compound or sand/cement
If the ground is already prepared and has a solid sub-base in place, the cost can be lower.
For a standard 2-car driveway (around 35–45m²), you’d typically be looking somewhere in the region of £3,500 – £6,000 all in, depending on the stone chosen and site conditions."

"Not a good choice to put down as they are only 20mm thick go with a block paver.
You be looking at £4000 to £5000"
