"Grout usually only takes a few hours to dry however it takes considerably longer to fully cure, it’s really important that you seek the advice from the installer and the manufacturers guidelines before using showers and wet areas."

"1. Plaster or filler (for uneven walls)

Setting time: 30 min–1 hour for lightweight filler

Full dry: 2–24 hours depending on thickness and humidity

Tip: Only sand or paint once completely dry; pressing too early can leave marks or cracks

2. Silicone sealant (if used around panels)

Touch dry: 30 minutes–1 hour

Fully cured: 24 hours (some thicker beads may take up to 48 hours)

Tip: Avoid moving the wardrobe or applying stress until fully cured

3. Paint (if needed after trimming)

Water-based emulsion: touch dry in 1 hour, recoat after 2–4 hours

Full cure: 1–2 weeks for hardness

Oil-based paint: touch dry in 6–8 hours, full cure in 24–48 hours"
