How do tree surgeons protecting birds and nesting?

How do tree surgeons ensure that birds and their nesting will not be harmed in the process of their work?

"Firstly we try not to do any works during nesting season without first making sure there are no birds nesting in the tree the only exception is if the tree is dangerous.Anyone failing to do this risks breaking the law as it illegal to disturb wild birds while nesting."

"There are laws in place to protect nesting birds in breeding season these must be followed by not interfering with the nests this time of year it not applicable"

"Trees should not be pruned from March to September as this is the nesting season.
