"Genuine Baxi part will be in its original package and must be bought from Baxi parts stockists who will give you a guarantee, it is better to allow your gas Engineer to purchase it"

"Baxi parts that are genuine will have a sticker on the packaging with the Baxi badge and genuine parts underneath, also the sticker will have the part number, what the product is. They come directly from Baxi stockists, usually Wolseley or similar"

"Ask the engineer carrying out the work to show you the box/part prior to being fitted, note any numbers and then perform a Google search or call the Baxi helpline to clarify your concerns.
Alternatively, inform the engineer of your preferences wanting genuine Baxi parts fitted and understand there will be a price difference from a patent part."
