How can I soundproof a room?

I’m just wondering what the best way to soundproof a room for a drum kit is? Is it something I can do myself with limited tools or will I need to hire a professional?

"Crw3 insulation. You can purchase it at Wickes. Put studwork up and place in between it."

"You can lat the wall. Put 25mm Kingspan then double sound board the wall. I've done this for a customer already with the same problem as you."
