What's the best way to get foundation make-up out of wool carpet?

Do not use hoke chemical or ammonium that will make it worse! 

Sprit vinegar, fungicidal fluid from wickes or bnq both mixed in a small cup.

Gently dab with a dish cloth

Drench the same cloth in boiling water.  Ring it and place on top for a couple hours. Then use a plastic bristle brush in one direction only using oxi clean. It will definitely  ome out !

Apply hydrogen peroxide based spray/drops and let it settle for about 5min. Do not rub or scrub but blot with a dry clean microfiber cloth. Job done.

Dr Beckmann spot cleaner spry the affected area leave to soak for few miniutes and scrub with the attachment on the bottle. Dry with a dry cloth and repeat method if needed

As a makeup lover I am constantly getting it everywhere… to get foundation out of my new grey carpet I used makeup remover wipes to get the worst of it up then hot soapy water and a sponge… hope this helps :)

wet the area a bit with a cloth then drizzle potato starch  over it, leave it for a day then vacuum.

I would get a professional to clean these - he/ she would have the correct chemicals - use the wrong ones could ruin the carpet
