Gas safety check cost in 2025

I need to book a gas safety check but I’m not sure what the going rate is? Will it cost more if I need a certificate? Thanks in advance

Gas safety check can vary dependant on amount of gas appliances in property?

Example: boiler, gas hob, gas fire.

All gas safety checks come with a certificate to prove appliance are safe to use.

Standard price is £80 for 1 appliance, 2 or more appliances £110.

Hi. A gas safety check with certificate can cost anything from £40+£150 all depending on where you live and the number of appliances. Here in sandwell the prices are very low compared to prices up London for example. Wherever you live get 3-5 quotes and tell them the number of appliances (gas cooker or hob,gas boiler, gas fire/s) and that will enable you to get an accurate quote. Hope that helps 🙂

It depends on how many gas appliances you have, i usually work on £40 per appliance for a gas safety check (not a service of the appliances) and a certificate should be supplied.
