    Gas safe construction companies


    Are all construction companies gas safe registered? Should they legally be? How does this work?

    "Good morning.
    No, not all construction companies are gas safe registered. There is no legal requirement to be registered as long as the company doesn't undertake works involving gas. There are many companies that undertake massive projects but they don't work with gas."

    "Only the person undertaking the actual work on gas has to be registered so a construction company like mine will get a gas safe contractor to do that element of the work"

This is a competency qualification that gives you peace of mind that the installer you are dealing with is by LAW allowed to carry out the modifications required."
