What are Fly ash bricks? How long do they usually last and what are their pros and cons in general? Thanks!

"Made from a compacted and strengthened ash mixture.
They’re lighter, very good for fire insulation.
Reduces the dead load weight of building.
They require much less mortar

They aren’t as insulating and can be low in strength dependant on mortar used."
