Is that a masonry bond in which each course consists of headers and stretchers alternately so laid as to always break joints"

"Usually used in garden walls, 9" wide or double skin... Very strong as every header brick ties the two skins together...
English bond is considered stronger.. But less aesthetically pleasent"

"Flemish bond is alternate bricks in the same course laid stretcher and header.
English bond is alternate courses laid stretcher and header.
Variations on both types that are normally every third brick or course laid as headers.
Older houses that were 9 inch solid walls pre 1900s may have either."
