Fitting brackets to back of lg tv for wall mounting

I have had to take the brackets off to move them up so the I can avoid the plug socket. The little white insert in the vesa holes has disappeared and the screws are just falling into the hole! Is there inserts / plugs I can purchase?

"If I'm right from reading what you have out, then I beleive you'll need something called rawl plugs.

These are plugs that fit into the hole drilled, but the rawl plugs will need to be the same diameter as the drill bit used to make the hole"

"Yes, there are special butterfly wallplugs that you can get that locks behind the plasterboard or ones that you screw into the wall that carries its own screw."

"What is the diameter of the holes? Length and diameter of the screws?
Sounds like you have a hollow wall rather than solid. There will be plugs you can purchase for either type of wall. Get in touch with a handyman"

"This would be on a plaster board wall by your description. You need plaster board wall plugs. They look like a big plastic screw."

"Hi, If the Vesa hole inserts in the back of the TV are not there, this is a problem.

Usually there inserts crack if the TV has been over tightened, I have never come across new inserts for the internals of the TV.

To repair I would advise taking the TV to a TV repair shop asking them to open retried the inserts and plastic weld them together to fix or asking them if they have any aftermarket inserts they can provide.

Hope this helps
