Fair gas certificate cost

I need to get a gas safety certificate (CP12) but I've no clue what a fair price is. Does the cost vary much depending on number of appliances?

"All depends on on the number of appliance gas fires are usually more due to the length checks is required, but please issue you have CO2 devices in all gas appliances as it could void your gas certificate which some gas engineer will cost to come out again"

"Hi. The gas safety certificate cp12, does vary on the number of appliances aswell as the area your in. When I say area I mean sometimes not always a local engineer will charge you less compared to an engineer who's travelling a good few miles. I would advise to get 3-5 quotes tell them the no of appliances you have in advance to get the accurate quote. Hope that helps 🙂"

"I charge £70 if it’s a boiler and cooker which would be a boiler service, appliance check and gas test
An extra charge of £90 for a gas fire on top"
